Hola, I’m Paul Jerome Neal — but everyone around here calls me Pablito!
I’m here to help you experience the vibrant community of Los Barriles, BCS, Mexico, like a true local.
Since settling here in 2018, I’ve gotten to know every corner of this once-small fishing town on the beautiful Sea of Cortez — from the best beaches and local eats to the hidden gems most visitors never find.

I’m a California native who spent nearly 35 years as a college counselor, helping people figure out their paths in life — from career goals to personal growth and everything in between. Helping folks dream big and make it happen has always been my thing.
These days, my wife Robin and I call Los Barriles home full-time. We’re both happily retired college educators who traded campus life for Baja sunshine — and we couldn’t be happier. We love the people, the culture, and the freedom that comes with living this incredible East Cape lifestyle.
